I need the following script modifying so that it works as an async function that I can call from a nodejs script using await functionName(topicName) passing a topic name as a variable which then makes a connection to the topic and returns a value:

You will need to install Diffusion v5.9 using npm install diffusion@5.9.0

I want to be able to call a function with the topic name ('>test' in the sample code) and for the function to return the value of arrayUpdate[0][7]
Please ensure errors are handled e.g. can't connect to server or can't connect to topic.
You will need a Diffusion server to connect to and a new topic each day which I can supply for testing.
