I'm in need of a skilled PCB designer who's well-versed in GPS technology, particularly its associated nuances like ground planes and impedance issues. The project involves two main tasks:
1. Designing a Simple GPS Board:
- The primary task is to design a straightforward GPS board. This should be done with a keen eye on the specific considerations related to GPS systems.
- Expertise in mapping out ground planes and addressing impedance issues are crucial for this task.
2. Making Minor Changes to an Existing PCB:
- Your secondary responsibility is to implement a few alterations on an already existing PCB.
- The core change involves integrating a new 4-pin Grove connector on the board, which will serve the purpose of connecting to the GPS board.
- The connector is to be oriented horizontally.
- The size of the Grove 4 pin connector is standard.
Ideal Candidate:
- Profound knowledge and experience in designing PCBs for GPS systems.
- Prior experience with integrating and modifying connectors on PCBs, with specific experience using the Grove 4 pin connector.
- Ability to adhere to the design parameters such as horizontal orientation and standard size.
