The Vendor will log in then select category then select sub category or also has the option to request new category and can name that category and or sub-category. Then they can post up to 12 photos but 1 display photo, Description, Title, Video, flash, mpeg, and a place to post CAD files, and PDF manuals. The original information each Vendors post will only be posted after approval by Admin The information each Vendors post can only be seen by the Vendor that posted it and Admin but not on the public portion of the site. The Vendor site will also have a section during sign up stating all the rules or the site and the rules of there posting and some of the main rules will also be visible in the top of the posting section so the rules can’t be over looked. Public Portion of the site The main site or Public site can be viewed by all, the general public can brows all the items in all the categories and should they find something he or she likes they can just click add to cart and check out or add other items then check out. The Public users can also send email to Admin or send question with a message system. All products will also show the estimated time it will take for the item to arrive and the more expensive item will also contain a financing button and on the button is the lowest possible lease payment. Dealer Portion and Replicator The site should have a button on the main page that says (Become a Dealer) Now once the user fills out all the fields like Name, Address, Phone, Cell, Fax, Logo, site extension, Dealer Agreement, and other info. Then the user will click (Generate My Free Site) and the built in site replicator will make a copy of the main site and change the Logo and change all the contact info, and it will remove the (Become a Dealer) button because Dealers can approve more dealers. A portion of the database should be replicated so the dealers can track there customers, search data, get sales data, open orders etc. With in the dealers Personal site there will be a page called (Business Cards) there they can view card Templates that have there information pasted in from the original form they filled out and they can print there own cards using Avery 8373 so the layout should tell the user to use 8373 or 8869 there the same, But it will also allow the user to transfer the order to Vistaprints.com. The database should show clearly site one and site 2, also show Dealers, then under each dealer show there personal site and allow me to edit any mistakes in spelling or logo placement. Admin Portion of the site The Admin site will have a complete Database that has search capabilities to fine orders by date, name, address, phone number etc. And Search capabilities to select search criteria like Vendor, Shipping, Etc. When a order is placed the order will come into the Admin and next to each product will be Vendor info as to where each product ordered can from so the order can be placed to the Vendor and there will also be the option to pay that vendor with many online payment options like merchant account, online wire but not PayPal. There will also be option available for sending Monthly, Bimonthly sales or specials to all registers users not vendors. There will also be a section to send messages to all Vendors at once or one at a time so they can get updates to site rules and other information. The site should also be able to perform account profits function. Should have the ability to select a Vendor and under him show his entire product line and all the categories and sub categories, The Database should be simple to add more categories and sub categories the site should have back up system. Posting Data to multiple sites This system will require information collected from vendors to post that information to Vendor site and Public site and it should have the ability to automatically set the price mark up at different percentile on different sites so site A may have mark up at 40% and site B may have mark up at 75% and it should have the ability to add more websites to the database and they will work the same way. Attention This site will need to be created from beginning so no work has been done on it, but do understand all the product photos and info will be posted by the Vendors you will only post a few to test the database. Site Display Site should also have ability to display many languages like American, India, China, and Korea Etc. The Database should have breadcrumbs to help user know where he is with in the system. Site needs failsafe back-up system.
