Description: I want help to create a bright looking voting site with web 2.0 social network features. The site will be dedicated to discover a new modern wonder in the urban world using a voting mechanism. There is nothing new in this project but the fact that the social features used will create an intense competition between users of the platform to make their pick a winner because they will also win a clear and tangible prize.
The idea: Voters can vote for free (without registering within the site) or registering within the site and paying a small sum using paypal or a credit card.
Scope Statement
Designing Requirements:
1. A friendly and easy to use voting site to match the free voting offered to the amusement of our costumers.
2. Design a professional looking site with each feature weaved in user friendly manner.
Development Requirements:
1. Admin Control Panel to control Voting, Questions and Answer
2. Report of each voting and facility to export or send mail
3. Once a costumer is securely registered, and starts voting and the question time frame has ended, if he/she answered right, specific points will be matched to his/her account. We will assign different awards to total points gathered form answering the questions.
4. Payment gateway integration (Paypal, Visa and mastercard)
5. Integrate evaluation mechanism as preparing question sheet and suggesting answering methods, evaluating voting system etc.
6.- Integration into Amazon Web Services.
7.- ability to manage google addword campaigns and include PSD banners on the sides of the page.
8.- Project will be considered complete only when it is fully operational within AWS.
9.- Social features using open source to keep costs down should include
1) Youtube Embed
2) Forum
3) Uploading pictures and personal info to user profile.
4) Blog using wordpress
o Content Management System (CMS)
If administrator wants to change the content of some static page like Contact Us, About Us, Privacy Policy, Home Page (it can be dynamic and new profiles can come automatically) etc, he can change directly using an inline editor having WYSIWYG Feature.
