Where I Have Been Map Generator

There is of course something like this already, both for world and for US states: * <[login to view URL]> - countries visited so far * [ttp://[login to view URL]][1] - states vitied so far I would like the coder to make a similar world and US map which shows the countries in appealing but different colors than their neighbors and to provide a print function which can print out poster size maps, say 24" by 32" and maybe PDFs of custom size (but fixed ratio). ## Deliverables So there should be two apps: **World Map** 1. A map of the world with all the countries listed in check boxes under the image. 2. Once the user is finishing choosing the countries that he/she wants shaded, he/she should be able to press a button and generate a map of all the selected countries. Nearby or neighboring countries should be colored by default in contrasting colors perhaps at random. 3. The user should be able next to customize the colors of the countries and generate a new map. 4. The user should be able to print their map to html, pdf and paper. The paper option should allow the user to blow up the map to a large size using multiple sheets of 8.5 X 11 paper or whatever size paper their printer uses by default. The PDF file should also be able to scaled up or down in size. 5. The maps should become ermanent parts of the site, and code be offered on the generated map page with which a user can display their map on their own Web page. **States Map** The second apps would be the same except it should be for the 50 US states and territories map instead of a World map. You can use Google Maps API or a Microsoft Maps API if one exists for public use, if either accomplishes the general goal.
