Custom development required on [login to view URL], an e-commerce website that offers (a) products (b) blogs (c) events (d) Expertnet (expert directory/advice/services), completely integrated with each other. The website has been built with X-Cart Platinum 4.6.1 with Reboot template.
We now need to have the website integration with Wordpress 3.8.3 as described below:
1) When a user is browsing a particular category/sub-category he/she should be able to view other content (event/blog/expertnet) related to that category/sub-category on that particular page. For example, if a user is browsing Lipstick (under Lip Care), he/she should get:
(a) branded lipstick product
(b) any event on lipstick launch
(c) Any related Expertnet directory listing that deals with beauty makeup or lipstick
(d) blog posts on lip care/ lipstick.
Another example: If someone is on the Diabetic Food page, he/she should see:
(a) branded diabetic care foods
(b) Expertnet directory listing for diabetes
(c) blog posts on diabetes
(d) events on diabetes, etc.
These sections will be displayed in block format. And if no relevant service/article/directory is available or applicable, then the relevant information will be taken from the previous level/up one level
The coding for the site should be open (preferably in a module format) and be flexible for future customization.
The customization should not result in losing the responsive structure of Reboot.
