debugging jsp codes & designing a display page for odds

we have a jsp based software. we have some issues with the codes. the software is meant to process bets on horseracing. We have issue with double bets being processed due to double clicks on confirmation of bet. we want to disable some browser functions such as 'back' , disable the use of 'enter' button and advise on security. we also have a page to display 9 horseracing meeting, using data from mysql.. the display ( 9 Horse meeting with each 3 columns (horse number, horse name and odds ) ..to be displayed in a well designed layout.
