2 flash apps using google maps

I am looking for two flash applications. The first application will show images pop up on a map in realtime as they are added to the database. The next app will use google maps to browse for images that have locations on a map. There is already code out there for using google maps in flash. The hard part will be the browse application that could possibly have millions of photos in the database. A fast and efficient way of dealing with a database of this size (mysql) must be utilized.

You can see exactly what it will look like as a image gets uploaded and added to the database. the database will have image thumbnail locations as well as Lat/Long information for the image location on the map.
