Any SugarCRM specialist floating around here?

The professionals here maybe able to come up with another solution to my problem. We are currently running Quickbase as our data management system. The problem is that with this system we can not allow customers to log in and up date information. View there account online and other things we would like to allow them to do.
What is the best method to completing this and still be able to manage our customers information. We currently manage, customers, claims and vendors. Maybe creating a database through our website and storing information there then creating a API or link to our quickbase? Or is there something simpler that we can do?
We need some sort of self service system for them. Any help would be appreciated.
