We have a Magento 1.5.0.1 webhsop with 30.000 products. We have connections through the API with an ERP system, Twinfield bookkeeping, Mailplus newsletter system, Zendesk Support, Lengow feed management, and in the future a CRM module.
We have multiple customizations (grouped products, pricing, customergroups, checkout) and unique modules in our platform which makes an upgrade for Magento very difficult.
We are rethinking our strategy and are thinking of rebuilding our platform in Zend.

This document is a brief description of the functionality of GYZS.nl. This document must lead to a detail proposal. After reading this document, our detailed discussions and your experience with our Webshop, I want you to argument why we should upgrade our 1.5 platform, build from scratch in Magento 1.7/1.8 or build in a complete new platform like Zend.
The way we now work is not obliged. If there is a better way to do it without necessary code, like using a Middelware system to unburden the API from Magento, please advise.
Not all functionality is described in this document. We think that some functionality is standard webshop functionality and it is not necessary to mention here (making orders in backend, credit orders, adding new customers for instance). If you think differently, please tell us.
We need to discuss every issue and functionality by e-mail or skype to be just clear what we expect and what we do not expect. Also we run through our backend and frontend to make sure all functionality is discussed.
We are really looking for a partner who stands beside us engaging our market in the best possible way. It is not just this onetime assignment. You will work and discuss closely with our ERP partner and our consulting partners for SEO and Adwords. You will really collaborate with us and advise us in any way possible.
