I have a client that I need to create an admin interface for that will allow them to upload new photos and text and drop it into a template. Here is the website: [url removed, login to view] Look at this page: [url removed, login to view] As they get new vehicles in, they would like to be able to post new pictures and descriptions of the vehicles to their site. I would like a set number of vehicles to appear in the “showroom” page, and I would also like a drop-down menu selection box placed in the footer from all other pages that is dynamically populated with all the vehicles in the database. This way, a site visitor can go the showroom to view the current vehicles, or they can click on a vehicle from the drop-down menu to view information on that vehicle. Here is what I would like to see done: •Create an admin section of the site where they can login. •Create a form where they can upload a photo and insert text descriptions that will be inserted into the page text, meta-tags, alt tags, table summary tags, comment tags, and title tag. •Upon completion of this form, they will click “submit” and it will create a new page based on the data they entered. •Create a section in the admin panel that lets the administrator select which vehicles to display on the “showroom” page. A minimum number must be set, no maximum. This can be done with checkboxes. •Create a dynamic drop-down menu box that is populated with all vehicles from the database. Selecting one of these will direct a user to the appropriate vehicle page. •All of the vehicle page links will point to a mod_rewrite URL (as opposed to the actual dynamic URL). I will have mod_rewrite installed before you start work on the project. No design work is needed, only the functionality.
