We already have a functioning plugin but it is functioning through the help of a number of other plugins. We want to make it it's own entity without the help of the additional these [free, popular] plugins. Again, this must stand alone and function on it's own.
The easiest way to describe the plugin is a media rich resume. The custom post type's loop will be used in several areas within a Wordpress Multisite / Buddypress Install.

Creates past and future experiences that fall under multiple categories.
Each entry has four different fields that also act as the post's custom taxonomies (*Note: we don't want to have to enter this info twice). The author can choose from a preselected list or add new.
Also, galleries, video links, and audio / audio links can be added to each entry. The galleries, video links, and audio have individual shortcodes that can be used to list on other pages / posts within the network.
Experience posts will be indexed / used in main site and on other sites in the multisite install where the user is at least an author.
Information will more than likely be in a pop up window / iframe instead of open a new page. The individual pictures in the gallery must open with a lightbox effect. Other styles will be added after and change from site to site within network.
All media and data is added / edited on both the backend and frontend by the author.
