I have a server on the internet 24x7. I will give you the domain name. You can verify it is mine as this would be bad if it were not my server. I was hacked once. I changed operating systems and since then I have not been hacked. I installed a lot less services on the box yet I'm still not comfortable. Also, I think this is a good way to really learn how to protect my computer. So I want you to try and hack into my box. You must be able to change files or something or read files and give me proof that you did this. If you can become root on the box then I'll give a bonus (not much but something). I think there might be more than one way to hack in. I'll pay for one way but I'm interested in all ways so you might bid on a per method or X for all methods. But just one method will be of value to me. You need to document what you did in order to get in. You cannot do any permanent harm or warn me in advance, this is a live server but it's only my playground (no business). You cannot use a DOS ... my box is on cable and I'm sure my providers ought to notice a DOS ... Do not disrupt the network.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional method of successful hack into my computer 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

4) If you do not succeed in hacking the computer by the deadline then no documenation has any meaning.

## Platform

not pertinent, how you succeeded will be in your documentation. If you had to use OS/2 to do it, so be it. I should not have to tell you what OS I am using. Once I give you the domain you should be able to figure that out pretty quick. One way to do that is test my webserver if I have one (I do) and I have not modified what it says, but I think I should. This is the kind of thing I expect from you. I expect you to say "we figured out your OS/version by doing XYZ ... then we looked up latest exploits for that OS/version" so I should try and hide what OS my computer is running, imho. I am running a version of Linux.
