My client has just opened a designer watch store and needs a professionally made basic website ASAP. Successful and in time completed project will probably lead to at least 2 more orders by the same client later this year.
However at this stage his first priority is this luxury watches shop website.
These are “example/reference” websites that my client wants his website to look like:

The website will showcase my client watch collection and be powered by either a flexible and scalable content management system or Wordpress for easy administration [WP is a preferred option however Drupal and Joomla are probably as good].
If we go the WP way – we will either obtain a premium theme ourself or happy to use one of your ones [the layout needs to be close to the above examples and be approved by my client]. I think Genesis Enterprise Child Theme or one of themes from themeforest [like U-Design, Karma, Dandelion or inFocus] should do the job nicely. You guys are experts, so please suggest/recommend something good here.
If you have a site you have previously created for another client and can use the template for this project, sent us a link in your bid. The above reference websites indicate what my client is after, so please use them as a guideline.
MySql/PHP/CSS knowledge is essential as not all themes do exactly what they say they will do! Most likely occasional php template tweaking might be required.
Project requirements:
• Web site will contain 5 to 9 pages (HOME, ABOUT US, EBAY STORE, SERVICES, CONTACT, VIP CLUB, NEW ARRIVALS)
• Unlimited revisions. All the website pages, included the VIP Club page, have to be demoed.
• Mobile version for the web site
• Website should be fast loading, optimized and MUST work flawless on ALL main browsers including iphone.
Design requirements:
All pages [apart from VIP Club] should be very simple to implement. The main condition of my client – to have all pages in black colour and text in gold. With Ebay Store we want to have an ability to display our own watches that will be put time to time on Ebay. With “New Arrivals” page – just an ability to upload watch photos and their descriptions and display them nicely. The only page that will require some additional skilful work – VIP Club page. What my client wants – users of the site to be able to register for VIP Club [with their email confirmed prior to registration] and get an account as a placeholder of virtual money. We want to be able to award every registered person with a certain number of virtual dollars [as a reward for registration and also for every purchase of a watch made in the shop]. Also we want every VIP Club member to receive a unique affiliate number that we can use to credit with some virtual money for affiliate related sales [that needs to be done using an administrative login].
Conditions:
1] The freelancer must upload site and prove that it is running correctly. Before final payment you will need to design and execute together with me a site test to make sure the site does not have any bugs.
2] My client requires that the site be completed within 15 days.
3] We must have the ability to update the website for text/pics/video changes.
Notes:
The winning bidder must have a MSN or Google talk account and agree a time at which contact can be made on any given day. I wish to communicate with my provider to ensure both parties are always happy.
If you feel that some features are particularly difficult/costly to implement, please discuss with me. I really don't care if you change a little here and there, as long as the result is good, functional, and easy to use.
The project will be awarded to a capable and reliable web designer based on the strength of their portfolio, creative mock-up and the feedback from previous clients.
