Event planning system

EVENT PLANNING SYSTEM USING BLOCK CHAIN EPS serves as a virtual event manager using which a user can schedule an event at his preferred place and time. The main purpose of the project is to build a user-friendly application which reduces the human work in managing the event and event booking. It also helps in overcoming few challenges faced by the organization in manually storing all the records and their retrieval at times. User and Organizer are the main entities in the project. User: User first needs to sign into his/her account, if they don’t have an account they can create an account by signing up. After logging in, the user can check for the availability of the place where they want to do the event, select the event type such as birthday party, wedding, school/college annual day, seminar etc., They can also select the food to be included along with some additional requirements they want at the venue during the event. Based on the requirements of the user we display the filtered results as a list among which user selects a venue and goes ahead to the book it option available, if he or she is satisfied with the venue. Upon acknowledging the selections made all the information is sent to the organizer, and an invoice to the user. Organizer: Similar to the User the organizer should login to his account, if they don’t have any account, they need to register. The organizer/vendor is the one who hosts the event after the user requests for it. The organizer during signup would provide all the details regarding the venue such as the capacity of the hall, the facilities provided, location of the venue, and can also include pictures of the venue on his portal which enables the user to view when he/she selects the venue. Organizer receives event requests from the user with all the requirements i.e., venue, type of event, estimated count of guests, food to be prepared etc., if the organizer is willing to do the event he accepts the proposal made by the user to do the event and schedules it accordingly. Block chain technology should be used to perform transactions.
