I require someone to develop an authentication mechanism for Arduino or ESP32. Ideally, I would like the microcontroller to be connected to OpenHab or any other free IoT platform with a simple TMP36 sensor, which will display current room temperature on a graph.
But access to the graph will be restricted until 2 factor authentication code is put into the web interface.
Basically, when a user attempts to access the webpage, the webpage will display a 4 digit code (say 1234), that code will then be placed into another small program on the computer, which will produce another 6 digit code (654732) that could then be placed on the webpage and it will grant access to the graph.
The mathematical calculations for the algorithm shouldn't have to be complex, I just want a working system where the data from the Arduino can only be accessed if a valid code, generated by a program on my PC, in put on the webpage.
Hello,
I read through the job details extremely carefully.
