I think it is only a display bug for html before you display some string in html you should to use the function htmlspecialchars after you retrieve the data from database now in your html it is <li class='d-inline-block'><strong>Yrkesområde</strong>: Sï¿½lj, Service, Handel, Butik</li> just do it like <li class='d-inline-block'><strong>Yrkesområde</strong>: <?php echo htmlspecialchars('Sï¿½lj, Service, Handel, Butik‘, ENT_QUOTES); ?></li> just replace the string with you variable in you programe , it should to be resolved
