The server used to host a website. Now as the website has gone inactive, we are racking up server bills so we might as well shut it down and save everything for possible use in the future. I want a backup of the entire server. Including but not limited to the DB, web files, all server config files, etc. Basically as much as we can get if not everything. Shouldn’t be a hard job, its an easy quick job that’ll take less than an hour. I’ll pay you $25. Everything inside the server is protected by intellectual property laws. Any sort of unlawful saving of the data by the freelancer will be followed by legal action. All files contained on the server are the sole property of mine.

Hi, Are you going to wipe out the data from the hard disk ? The question is where you want the backup to be taken. Since this is only a web server (assumption from your note), there is no need of backing up the OS files. But it is better to save Apache/nginx/mysql/php configuration files.
