We have a very simple PHP web site which has a user registration process. When a new user registers on our website, we need this user to be automatically created in our phpBB forum as well (which resides on the same server/site). Also, when an existing user logs in to our web site, we want the user to be automatically logged in to the phpBB forum, when they navigate to it. Task details - there are two tasks in this project. 1) Script for creating user in phpBB based on the credentials from website When a user registers on our website, the script creates a user with the same credentials (username/password) on our phpBB forum. 2) Script for automatic log in of existing user to phpBB When a user logs in on our website and then navigates to the forums, we need a PHP script to log them in automatically, based on their credentials from the website. Both the forums and the website are hosted on the same server, with the forum being a subdomain of the site; [login to view URL] and forum.mysite.com. Databases for both the website and the forum (MySQL) are also on the same server.
