New Job posting, Update existing job posting and Delete job posting are the 3 tasks; Now need only job posting part; XML CGI API will be used; As per my knowledge CGI is specification of communication between web server and external programs data as XML; So using this API job will be posted in CV-Library. Will use POST type; The parameters which needs to use on call the API are username, password, source ID, Title, reference, Type, additional_industry, region, precise_location, display_location, relocate_from_eu, salary_min, salary_max, salary_period, start, duration, description, questions, answers, contact details. Parameters values will be string.
Basically in case of implementing an XML-RPC server with functions and a client calls a method on server, sending a datetime as parameter. The PHP XML-RPC will pass registered server methos an object as parameter; That object, for example, looks like:
obj->type="datetime"
obj->scalar="20040420T13:32:40"
obj->timestamp=1082460760
In case of xmlrpc_get_type(obj), it will return "datetime", so presumably that function just returns the value of 'type'. 'scalar' seems to be the on-the-wire representation of the datetime. 'timestamp' appears to be the ISO value in 'scalar' converted into a normal PHP timestamp (i.e. Unix time_t).
Note on 'scalar': Using a MySQL DB, make "select blah where start_time >= $obj->scalar ;. That actually worked and returned expected results, so MySQL appears to handle that ISO 8601 format correctly.
