We need to code a trading bot using the ccxt library ( [login to view URL] ) Actually it will not be full-fledged bot, all what we want from it is only entering and removing orders and interaction with our server through an API, where the bot you will code will send an actual bid/ask, orderbook and current orders/order history through an API to our server and our server will respond with a limit order (or multiple orders) which should the bot enter at the exchange, and/or if it needs to remove any existing orders. It will also need to send a confirmation if the order has been entered/removed/executed successfully and the open orders need to be synchronized so that our server will know at any time about all orders that are open. For example if the bot is stopped for some time and then run again, the open orders and trade history has to be sent to our server so that any changes in orders during the downtime will be reflected in our database. We will run it on several coins and exchanges so the coin / exchange it currently works with has to be configurable either on command line or in some settings file. It doesn't have to run on multiple coins/exchanges simultaneously, we can run more instances of the script should we need to run it on multiple coins/exchanges. The coin/exchange should also be sent with every API call to our server. The API requests and reponses will be done through regular HTTPS. We don't need any frontend for the bot, so it can be command line only. We would prefer if it could be done in PHP but we can discuss it (other options ccxt library supports are Node and Python)

Hi there, Your requirements look quite clear. As far as I can understand a common operation will consists of the steps below. Imagine this takes place in an infinite loop, repeating constantly until explicitly stopped. 1. The bot fetches ask/price, order book and a slice of filled orders(e.g within last 5min. or last hour) from the exchange. 2. The bot sends a POST request with fetched data to your API. 3. Your API runs this data through an algorithm which I suppose implemented behind your API. 4. According to the result of your algo the API will return a response containing the orders to be placed/removed. 5. The bot parses the returned response and places/removes orders accordingly. 6. The bot reports the status of the operation at step 5 containing the success/failure of each order placement/removal. 7. Loop ends here and starts with step 1 again. I have implemented a bot using binance and cryptopia APIs in the past but haven't used ccxt. I don't know how it wraps each exchange API but some offers websocket access while some don't and there's also API limits in place. It looks like a decent library so I guess all these are accounted for nicely. I don't know how often you want the bot to fetch the data. If an exchange supports websocket it'd be near realtime but if it doesn't we need to play within the limits. Anyway, we can further discuss the finer details. Per your request I'll use php to implement and I expect this to take around 7 days. Thanks Aydin

I have few years of experience in Python and a lot of programming experience.
