Dear Sir/Madam,\r\nI am a Mechanical Design Engineer and have designed around 50 products. I have the ability to do the research and find the suitable materials for different purposes. I can perform finite element analysis (FEA) for determining how much material is needed so that the product does not fail under various kind of loading conditions. I may not be able to determine the specific composition as that would be a material scientist\'s job but I can recommend commercially available materials as their mechanical properties are available on the web. I can also design the product in specific ways so as to provide the required strength without use of excess material and save on the material cost. I can also improve the product from functionality and aesthetics point of view. I can design the joints or mating regions without compromising on the strength and use various joining techniques depending upon whether a disassembly is required or not.
