Convert a Python desktop program into a node.js server application The existing Python program is a desktop Binance trading bot for crypto currencies that takes signals from an existing API and executes trades based on a given logic using the Binance API. There is a graphical interface (GUI) that allows the user to: - start and stop the bot - update configurations (parameters for the trades, API keys, etc.) - watch currently running trades - watch overview (all trades of a pair, etc.) - general overview (all trades in total, statistics, etc.) - view trades in a chart (entry/exit point of a trade) - execute backtests The whole program is currently one .py file with around 2000 lines of code and will be provided on project start. Some changes, improvements and upgrades to the existing code will be part of this project too. The goal of this project is to port the code to a node.js application written in TypeScript that will run in the cloud 24/7. There needs to be a web interface (either written with Angular or server-side-rendered with Pug or a similar technology) that replaces the existing GUI. The architecture of the project should be similar to Microsoft's "TypeScript Node Starter" project ([login to view URL]). It should run inside a container (Docker) and needs to be deployable to Google App Engine or Cloud Run, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Heroku, or similar services. The following tech needs to be used: * Node.js (needs to run on v12 and v14) * npm or yarn (package manager) * TypeScript (programming language) * Express (serving the website and/or API) * MongoDB 4.4 (database) * Mongoose (ODM) * eslint (Linter) * Docker * UI: Angular or server-side-rendered with a UI components library like Bootstrap or Material (to be discussed)
