Classification of data using ANFIS/Neuro Fuzzy technique

I have some wind data from a wind station.
I want to classify the wind either as a gust or a squall.
A wind gust is defined as the maximum 3-second wind speed that occurs (or is forecast to occur) within a 2-minute interval.
A squall is a sudden wind-speed increase of 8 meters per second (29 km/hr) or more, for one minute or longer. It includes several briefer wind-speed changes, or gusts.
Then plot the various occurences of gust and squalls in a seperate graph.
I want the researcher to use Neuro Fuzzy Technique. If the researcher wants to use a better technique then he can use it with my consultation.
Suppose, if a gust/squall is not detected in the data, then the researcher can modify the data to produce such occurences.
Any addition can be made by the researcher if found suitable for the work.
There are data available at different heights and the classification has to be done at all heights. The average, maximum and minimum wind speed data is available.
The program should be as such, it can input a custom data by the user and give the output.
The software used is Preferably MATLAB but if researcher can do the work in better software, he can consult with me.
