Extend a balance sheet planning software to a showcase cloud application. The software follows a message based computing pattern and exists as a prototype written in Python. The goal is to have a highly scalable, automatically deployed cloud web service application with low configuration effort. Parts of the project: Review, challenge, and adapt existing architecture and code structures. Extend business logic, calculation features, and reporting layer of existing software according to requirements. Develop webservice frontend and its REST API. Develop Excel interface. Choose cloud service provider according to requirements. Set up cloud service provider account and automatic cloud deployment of software and testing.
