Python - Data transmission from Serial Port

Process in Python to read a serial port and check if data received is OK if NO send info from the serial port to request the info again.

My gateway will receive 4 lines from my sensor and I need to check if the lines are OK or NOT ...

The gateway will receive line by line and need to check line by line ...

Example:

#,pcbb15,*,1,22,09,20,06,03,57,45,3.428,3.311*

#,pcbb15,*,2,2.277,3.213,2.344,0.483,0.466,*

#,pcbb15,*,3,0.396,1.642,1.382,1.429,*

#,pcbb15,*,4,0,0,*

The first line is #,pcbb15,*,1,22,09,20,06,03,57,45,3.428,3.311* need to check is this line is correct (if have only string and number) if OK, I need to send "OK" to my sensor .. after this the sensor will send the second line

,pcbb15,*,2,2.277,3.213,2.344,0.483,0.466,* ... check again .. if everything is ok send OK again .. or send NOK to receive the line 2 again.

The gateway has more than one sensor connected .. for this process need to check and send info to the specific sensor but each line has the sensor number (pcbb15) ...
