I have clients want to purpose on IoT Ecosystem. They want these questions need to be answer :- 1. acknowledgements, table of content, list of tables/figures, abstract (at most a page) 2. introduction • objective • what is the problem • • why other approach is no good • why you think your approach is better • statement of the problem (optional) • area or scope of investigation 3. theoretical bases and literature review • definition of the problem (if you have mathematic formulation) • theoretical background of the problem (if needed) • related research to solve the problem • advantage/disadvantage of those research • your solution to solve this problem • where your solution different from others • why your solution is better 4. hypothesis (or goals) • single/multiple hypothesis • positive or negative (only for proof correctness) hypothesis 5. methodology • how to generate/collect input data • how to solve the problem • algorithm design • language used • tools used • a prototype (optional if time permit) • how to generate output • how to test against hypotheses • how to proof correctness (required by dissertation only) 6. implementation • code (refer programming requirements) • design document and flowchart 7. data analysis and discussion • output generation • output analysis • compare output against hypothesis • abnormal case explanation (the most important task if you have it) • static regression (if you have complex curve to fit) • discussion 8. conclusions and recommendations • summary and conclusions • recommendations for future studies 9. Reference 10. appendices • program source code with documentation • input/output listing • other related material FYI:- not to worry about 6,7,8,10 for now .
