Part-time fill-in copy editor

EMA is an IT industry analyst firm. We produce many technical and marketing papers and reports. We have a full-time copy editor, but need additional help from time to time or to fill in during vacations, etc. We are seeking a freelance copy editor to occasionally proofread white papers, impact briefs, case studies, and infobriefs detailing a range of topics, including business analytics, application management, security and risk management, hybrid infrastructure, and network management.
Editor must have:
--English degree, Bachelor’s or higher
--2 years minimum of copy editing experience
--Access to Internet
--Ability to work in US time zone hours
--Experience with technical jargon preferred
We will initially assign one paper as a trial. We will need several papers edited in the mid-September timeframe. This project is a test to be our backup editor.
