Hi Hiroki, I have been a proofreader and editor for over 20 years and particularly have a wealth of experience in academic papers and students for whom English is a second language. I can check for grammar, spelling, punctuation. Paraphrasing large sections of your text is not something a proofreader/editor undertakes, however, I would be prepared to adjust sentences so they are readable.
