Google Scripts Code for Dynamic Dropdown

I have a Google Sheet with a lookup table that includes product groups (repeated a number of times) and multiple products within these groups.
I need a script that will create a dynamic dropdown in another sheet.
The first dropdown will select the group (a normal validation dropdown)
The second dropdown will use the first dropdown as a search key. It will then look at another sheet, find all instances of that search key (product group_, and return (as a dropdown) the relevant products within that group.
I have seen a way of doing this with a script, but only when the product group is given once, not multiple times. An example of the raw data is below:
Product Group Product
Group 1 Product A
Group 1 Product B
Group 2 Product C
Group 2 Product D
Group 2 Product E
The orginal Google Sheet will be shared with the selected bidder.
This should be a fairly short exercise for someone who knows what they are doing
