VB basic project OCR and text file manipulation

Hi! I already have the OCR in place, we did it on C# but we can translate it to VB.NET no problem as we develop in both platform. If you send me a Sample File with the image where the Text is going to be recognize, I can record you a video so you can see the OCR working, and then we can talk more about numbers. Matching that with a .txt, .csv or any other file to match the coordinates and retrieve and ID etc wont be a problem. Question, will the OCR run as a different app/thread from the one that is displaying the numbers, or is the same app but the numbers are being displayed as image hence you can't know what they represent? PD: Price is not the final price, final price would be giving once we know the full spectrum of this project and how many hours of development we have to invest on it. Thanks! Felice

I have the following questions - 1) Are the co-ordinates to be read, from an image on the screen, or a window on the screen, or a browser ? 2) Is the font-style, size and color of the on-screen text fixed ? Or can it change ? 3) If the co-ordinates to be read from the screen are from a window (and a text box), then it is easier and we can avoid using OCR by using GetWindowText API calls (which allows reading of text from windows, text-boxes etc).
