Looking to create tool that on a live Windows system (supports all Windows versions), read the $MFT file. Then provide it one or many file paths and be able to export them. They key is it should be able to extract system files such as the $I30 file, $Logfile or the $MFT file itself, or even ADS files like the USN. Must run on all windows operating systems. Also need to have a python binding or DLL file with com interface so i can call it from python scripts. Similar to below but must work on GPT and all windows. [login to view URL]

I have written a linux based network packet analyzer without using except the standard C library. and also written simple versions of network diagnostic tools ping and traceroute.
