Beside Java and SQL I would also use Hibernate for querying the db and Spring framework for simple login solution and MVC architecture of the project. If you decide to work with me, would that be ok? Beside that, a couple of more questions: 1. How is the employees' attendance recorded in the app? Beside reviewing the attendance, is admin also able to change data about employees' attendance? 2. Do you have a special requirement for UML document format? 3. What do you mean by "I also need software testing design, and implementation for the components."? 4. A suggestion: if you want to avoid employees' complaints about a miscalculated salary, you might want to add something like employees' confirmation at the end of a billing period that they agree and confirm the correctness of the attendance data. This suggestion comes from an experience with a similar project that I worked on, where employees were allowed to manually enter number of hours per day that they worked as well as the project that they worked on. This was very important feature on this project cause many people made manual changes, so errors happened. If in your case admin is the only one allowed to make these or similar kind of changes, this might not be necessary.
