I did lots of work using stored procedures with SQL in ASP.NET projects. I had a stored procedure that generates a report for a monthly audit process. In the database being queried, all data for each month lives in its own individual table. After some days the problems get started that the audit report for December 2016 included data for both 12/2016 and 12/2015. I set in my pocedure- If (@getmonth = 0) set @GetMonth = 12 + (@GetYear - 1) this is the cause to the problem. To get the 12th month of the previous year when the current month is 1. I modify the procedure like- If @GetMonth = 0 Begin Set @GetMonth = 12 Set @GetYear = @GetYear - 1 End And another cause was I declared @GetMonth as TinyInt which caused an arithmetic overflow when I tried to store the year. To export data from SQL Server as JSON, by adding the FOR JSON clause to a SELECT statement. Use the FOR JSON clause to simplify client applications by delegating the formatting of JSON output from the app to SQL Server. I used the FOR JSON clause, to specify the structure of the JSON output explicitly, also set the structure of the SELECT statement to determine the output. To maintain full control over the format of the JSON output, I used FOR JSON PATH. I created wrapper objects and set complex properties. To format the JSON output automatically based on the structure of the SELECT statement, I used FOR JSON AUTO. I can work more than 40 to 50 hrs. Contact me for a brief discussion.
