I am native Japanese who lives in Japan for most of my lifetime. I've been learning and studying English for almost 20 years now (including schools and self-study). I have BA in Social Sciences (Political Science as a major, and Sociology and Anthropology as a minor) of Faculty of Liberal Arts of Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan, along with the First-Class English Teaching Certificate for Junior and Senior High Schools issued by Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education. I studied in University of Reading for a year, too. I have experience in localization of game softwares for a gaming company (mainly English -->Japanese), translation of manuals, websites and videos for a trading company specializing in scuba-diving equipment and other related marine products (mainly English-->Japanese), and in translation (Japanese-->English) as well as proofreading of documents of various corporate information (notices of convocation of the shareholders' meeting, financial statements, annual reports, Corporate Governance Reports) for a translation company specializing in finance which deals with IR. I also have experience in teaching English (Age target: from kids to adults). I'm currently a home-based translator, post-editor, and checker/reviewer for four translation companies, which deal with variety of fields from chemistry, medical, machinery, IT, legal affairs, and finance. I'm quite flexible in time-wise at the moment, so will be able to help you with your translation project.
