So, after a long discovery process trying to find out what some 3rd party developers had done that no longer work on our app, we realized we need to upgrade ruby so that we can take advantage of the native mongo-ruby-driver, migrating from moped. Freelancer MUST BE VERSED IN RUBY ON RAILS! It seems pretty straightforward, needing to make sure the attempted upgrade is in place, the the gemsets are configured properly, and that the gem 'appsignal' is installed for monitoring.
