Senior Front-end React developer for innovative UX/AI project (6months)

We're a start-up looking for a very strong and experienced React developer to join our distributed team, to lead and execute the front-end development for an innovative AI-based search agent platform.
The vision is to launch a multi-channel platform (web, mobile, messenger) that supports consumers in the process of discovery and search, using a mixed visual/conversational UX approach. Our initial focus is product search.
The first development phase has been completed, and a prototype/mvp is in place. We are now gearing up for a 6 month period of iterative work to review, revise and improve the UX and AI.
The team includes AI/ML and UX resources. You will be the front-end developer to take us through this next phase. Longer term co-operation is desired.
Requirements:
• Primary background in B2C tech products
• Very strong front-end experience in html / css / javascript, specifically React
• Experience with NodeJS
• Experience with web sockets and REST APIs
• Experience with chat interfaces is highly beneficial
• Minimum 5 years of full-time post-university development experience
• Familiar with working in distributed/remote teams
• Able to “think out of the box”, take on new ideas
• Fluent English
• Comfortable with regular interaction and working as a team
• Available immediately and keen to work full-time for an extended period on one project
