Full-time Film Colorist Needed for Architectural Documentaries We need a 1 full-time colorist/video editor to join our small cinematography team. Long term. We film & photograph architecture all over the world & have our work published on architecture outlets everywhere. We are just a 2 person (husband/wife) company. We need to speed up our workflow, so each of us is hiring an assistant to work with us full-time. She is hiring a photography editor to assist on her photography masking, and I am hiring a colorist for our documentaries. These 2 new people will become a crucial part of our team as are booked 2 years into the future for projects. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with us and stay long term. You will be working for most months out of the year, but some months we take off. During this time, we will continue to mentor and pay you while you continue to study under us with the same work schedule. Architecture is a unique niche with much to learn. COLORIST POSITION This position is for a film colorist. You must be working with DaVinci, Speedgrade, or something similar. This job is for architectural documentaries only…so there is a lot of color matching. You must be editing in a controlled environment and have an extreme eye for color matching shots. Architecture is about continuity in color temperature…and there are a lot of subtle grades. You must: 1. Use professional color grading software. 2. Be able to upload and download 15-20GB files regularly. 3. Speak English. 4. Skype daily. 5. Be interested in architecture. 6. Be willing to come the US when needed for filming. 7.
