Video editing for family travels

Hi there, Very envious, how amazing, what memories you will create. I do a lot of corporate explainers/ animations and corporate videos, but always enjoy interesting projects, like this sounds! Can give you plenty of corporate links, depending on what styles etc you like..but perhaps a recent long 70th birthday tribute will show you a better indication. For this project, I did each section different style, and audio etc was personal and relating to the recipient. I believe that great communication works best for both to get the end product right. I provide plenty of samples for review/checking and comments/changes along the way and value feedback/critique to make the end product better. First of all: it's a great idea to organize your travel this way. Secondly: if you're going to use a hand held, phone or action camera, I can't recommend enough to buy a simple 3 axis gimbal, f.e. Zhiyun-Tech Smooth-4 Smartphone Gimbal or any other you would prefer. It will sky-rocket the overall quality of your footage by stabilizing your camera while you move. I can't stress it enough how important it is to get great results, cause editing-wise you can select only the best moments and you can color correct everything to look as good as it can be, but in most cases hand-held footage looks terrible if you're moving while you shoot. And even the best stabilization software won't guarantee you perfect results in that case. I'm sure you want to relive these moments you're about to experience, watching those videos, so do yourself a big favor and get the gimbal(you can look for them at B&H photo video) or anywhere else around you. Good quality gimbals for small/lightweight cameras cost around 120-200$
