Se tiene un programa en visual Basic 6.0 (adjunto código fuente) , el cual se comunica con otros equipos por un puerto serie ( en realidad se usa un convertidor de medios ethernet a serie).
Esta comunicación la hace de manera NO secuencial utilizando timers. El trabajo consiste en los siguiente:
1. Cambiar la comunicación para que sea secuencial, de tal manera que le mande un mensaje al equipo 1, después al equipo 2, después al equipo ...n. Cuando termine el ciclo le mande el siguiente mensaje al primer equipo y se siga con los siguientes . Esto se debe hacer sin alterar la lógica de los mensajes que ya existe y funciona bien.
2. Si un equipo no contesta, debera reintentar x cantidad de veces el reenvio del mensaje, y sino se salta al siguiente equipo
Notas importantes:
. El programa usa dlls para comunicarse con un sistema.
. Todo corre en windows 2003 server
. Tengo una maquina virtual con todo el sistema funcionando , te puedes conectar a mi mv y trabajamos juntos o los haces desde tu maquina.

I have a program in Visual Basic 6.0 (source code attached), which communicates with other computers through a serial port (actually an Ethernet to serial media converter is used).
This communication is done NOT sequentially using timers. The work consists of the following:
1. - Change the communication so that it is sequential, so that it sends a message to team 1, then to team 2, then to team...n. When the cycle ends, send the following message to the first team and continue with the following ones. This should be done without altering the message logic that already exists and works well.
2-. If a computer does not respond, it must retry x number of times to resend the message, otherwise it will skip to the next computer.
Important notice:
The program uses some dlls to comunicate with another system
All runs under Windows 2003 server
I have a virtual machine with everything working. You can work from your computer or connect remotly to mine.
I speak native spanish and know english
