Graphical Design, Layout and Building a Brochure-Type Website NOTE: Please read this project brief before applying. Indicate whether you are able to deliver Dreamweaver Templates and provide an estimate of fees. We do not want Flash. Company Overview: Hana Digital designs and manufactures consumer electronic devices that connect Internet-based entertainment with home audio and video equipment. Using our devices, consumers are able to play Internet music and movies directly on home stereo and television equipment without the need for a PC. Project Objective: Website design that showcases the company’s products and services. The website will be used by partner companies to evaluate our products and services, download brochures and obtain contact information. The website map is shown below. Anticipated Tasks: Graphical Design Color pallet, shapes, website’s “look & feel” Examples of similar websites will be provided. We would like at least 3 choices of color pallets. Website Layout Navigation and page layout Examples of similar websites will be provided. We would like at least 3 page layout mockups. Dreamweaver Template Creation Create home page and three levels of templates Only Dreamweaver templates. NO FLASH. Build website Using content and graphics provided, build website The content is about 20-30 pages. Desired “Look & Feel” for Website: Examples of appropriate color palette, look & feel, navigation, etc. are such sites as: • [login to view URL] • [login to view URL] • [login to view URL] Deliverables: 1) Propose three graphical design ideas for our review. One will be selected. 2) Propose three page layout mockups for our review. One will be selected as the base; modifications may be requested. 3) Develop one idea into Dreamweaver templates for a multilevel website. The levels of templates are Home Page, submenu pages, detailed product/service pages. The deliverables will include Templates, CSS style sheet and Web-ready graphics 4) Build website based on content we will provide, according to the menu tree below. Note: This bid is just for the three layouts. For actual implimentation the total project would probably be around $300, maybe more but probably not. I have experience in the past of making professional websites that reflect the theme of what you are trying to sell. I am more than proficient in Dreamweaver and one of my pet peeves are sites that do not work in all browsers so I thoroughly test my pages in Mozilla FireFox (or whatever the current build happens to be), Internet Explorer 6.0, and Opera. I also use the W3C Validater to make sure my pages are up to snuff by their standards. Your site will be usable by everyone, trust me. I believe that this could be a good partnership.
