I will be implementing the calendar using jQuery where you will be assigning the particular task to particular worker on particular day and time. A notification will be sent to the employees through mail about their tasks. All the employees will be listed i the web. You just need to select the particular employee before assigning the task. If you want to sell this feature in future to other companies then we need to add the different panel for company users, where they will be able to register and use it. Chocolate giraffe Hello, Regarding technology, i would go for PHP, perhaps using Laravel framework. Not sure i understand the first phrase of the description, but if you want manager to manage tasks based on notification, he would either get a text or an email with a link to manage that specific task. The application would be responsive, therefore it would work on both pc or mobile phones. Each user role would have it's own dashboard that would show them what they need to see, for the ones that have tasks assigned, they would only see the tasks + some other info and be able to update the task status. Each task would have specific info based on what it is, that includes hours allocated, type of job, the owner and anything else required. Regarding reuse, even if i develop it using Laravel framework, it would be still easy to reuse, but that depends on the buyer, if he has really low skills, i would just build it using custom PHP and get him to copy files, import a database and change a configuration file to match his credentials to the database.
