Read data from midi file and save data in text file

a) The project is to make a utility in any version of c (using Microsofts visual studio) to do the following:

b) Check the basic Tempo of the midi and write the tempo information into a text file.

c) Check the range of the chords or notes in each track of the midi file and write the range in text file.

d) So text file will have following headers and each data is separated by a "Pipe" symbol (position 124 (decimal) in the ASCII character set)

i) FileName

ii) Tempo

iii) TrName01

iv) TrRange01

v) TrName02

vi) TrRange02

vii) TrName03

viii) TrRange03

ix) TrName04

x) TrRange05

xi) And so on.. so TrName and TrRange to be added as per required by midi.

e) The utility must read the data of all midi files in a folder. So there must be an option to specify the folder (maybe read path from ini file?).
