The main issue is that my website regularly serves error 500 responses, blank pages, or loads the page incorrectly on requests for products for selections made in the menu links for product categories.
For example in the menu if you select any of the product categories such as the Men's > Polo Shirts as shown in image 6, you receive the blank page illustrated in image 7.
This also happens with the pagination when I try to click on a new page from the list of product search results as shown in images 6 & 7 and also with some but not all of the product category images on my home page as illustrated in images 8 & 9.

The website is hosted on a DigitalOcean droplet 8 GB Memory / 160 GB Disk.

GTMetrix gives it an F and Google PageSpeed Insights give it a 34. The website can sometimes take up to 8 seconds to serve the page.
I have tried to hire someone before to fix this issue but they just tried to install plugins and it didn't work. I am not sure if the issue is a conflict with outdated plugins or if some of the changes by my previous developer have caused this but
I am looking for someone who will take the time to interrogate this issue, accurately diagnose exactly what the problems are and fix them so my website runs quickly and serves each request so that I do not lose customers.
