Build simple woocommerce wp site based on existing site

Hi, please read this entire post before bidding. Otherwise, I will ignore your bid. I have a wordpress/woocommerce site that a previous freelancer built with a very old theme. Unfortunately, now any update to the woocommerce plugin breaks the layout of the site. The site is very simple. It uses woocommerce to get products from Amazon and uses the cart, then forwards the user to Amazon when the user checks out. I'll send the existing site link to the person that gets awarded the project. The link can be used as a reference site to build a new simple site (homepage, category page, product details page templates). A very simple logo (you will see how simple the logo is on the existing site - it's mostly text). If you can't create a simple logo, I can handle that myself. I will be placing Ads on my site and these should either use an established plugin, or the Ad code should be placed in the correct spot so woocommerce/theme/wp core updates don't break the layout. There are a few simple CSS overrides (simple for a CSS expert) so woocommerce displays/hides certain info. I.e., display:none, etc. I am willing to purchase a reasonably priced theme that you recommend, that is fully compatible and up to date with the latest woocommerce version. Please ONLY bid if you: - are a Wordpress/woocommerce/CSS expert. Javascript is a plus. - Can test the site on mobile devices and/or (free) emulators. - Set expectations well and maintain good communication. - Have patience for chat replies if we are in completely different time zones. I will not hire big companies that bid automatically without reading my post. I'd rather work with an expert that reads and fully understands what I’m looking for. I am willing to pay a small amount up front. Do not bid if you require a large milestone before doing any work. If several freelancers have the same qualifications, preference will go to the expert that doesn't require an upfront payment. Please do not open a chat before I award the winner.
