Need Javascript expert to help with Revolution Slider start/stop

Seeking someone with Revolution Slider experience to help troubleshoot custom Javascript. Slider is embedded in Visual Composer tabs and when tab is click away, slider needs to be paused and when tab is clicked on again, slider needs to be started. This is possible but I've tried several scripts and am not getting it right, I'm not a Java expert. Please don't apply if you haven't worked with Rev Slider before. Thanks!
