I want to build a marketplace themeforest type website in WORDPRESS where people can sell their own digital and physical stuff to each other, essentially the C2C model (customer to customer). There may be a need for a shopping cart also (woocommerce) so that people can sell digital products like mp3s, ebooks, video files services etc., otherwise it is just for people to post physical products and make offline transactions. More like an online hub of activity for trading/buying and selling products.
Users should also be able to use their Facebook profiles to join membership... and membership is free for now and members can post images of their products and there should be different fields for different attributes (eg. Images, price, title, description, etc)
Users should also be able to message and comment. This site would be free to post initially so there must be spots on the pages for advertising.
This marketplace should be energetic, appealing, modern, urban, selectively colorful and executed with finesse... not the traditional directory look because this is not a directory site
This is just an overview of what is needed, the site and its features will improve as development begins
