I have the server ready to setup a Wordpress template + Directory Plugin.
I already chose the template, but I need to know the directory extension that can work as I want.
The website is a magazine website about a country. On the top of the website I need a combo that the user will choose the state and the city he is at, or wants information from.
So,
1) If I select the state of California and City of São FRancisco, only posts and places about them should be shown.
2) When I write a post, I have to select the state and the city that that news is from.
3) When I write a new directory item, I also need to select the state and the city that that place is from.
4) The combo state should be linked to the combo city, that should be linked to the combo neighbouhood; I need to be able to stupe new cities and neighbouhoods.
5) I need a solution, probably a checkbox, that will tell wordpress to read all the information from the current state, even knowing that the city is selected:
Example: Florida> Miami. If someone chooses Florida Miami, only posts, and places from Miami should be shown.
Example2: Florida > Tampa. Tampa is a small city, so there is not enough information about the place. So I need a flag on administration that will tell wordpress to get all posts and plases from it's state. In this case, Florida.
6) Searching for a place I would select the neighbouhood, category and a search box (free).
7) I must be able to upgrade theme and directory as I wish, without breaking the code.
9) IURL should be [login to view URL][state]/[city] chosen.
