Hi I have FULL CONFIDENCE of integrating inventory exposed via SOAP within your website. Please note that I can help you in following SOAP-related tasks and more: 1) XML web services, including SOAP, support service discovery and therefore provide WSDL. But there can be problems even finding the WSDL URL. In one of my projects, I had to consume WCF web service (developed in .NET) in PHP and said WCF service did NOT support using “?wsdl” query string because the service was designed using WS-MetadataExchange protocol. As I am well-versed with various WS-* standards, I was able to retrieve not only “main” WSDL xsd file but related xsd files as well. 2) Providing authentication information in SOAP header may be problematic since, in order to do so, you first need to decipher security description present in WSDL file. Such description is written using WS-Security and WS-Policy related specifications. 3) Yet another problem related to providing authentication is the inability of programming language libraries to provide out-of-box functionality for WS-Security and WS-Policy related specifications. For example, PHP’s SoapClient class does NOT support said WS-* specifications and you need to do work by deriving a class from SoapHeader class and implement the specifications yourself.
