The client wanted a logo to represent the time and history he had with the sport since he has been racing pigeons since 1954. I used the image of racing pigeon coming in to land as this is the normally the most significant moment for the pigeon fancier as it is the end of the race and a safe return home from their bird. I wanted to try empathize this feeling with the logo and maintain the historic ethos with the grey scale pencil sketched art style. The pedigree form is designed to the clients requests.

The Jack's House has a large customer base built from hikers and walkers who already stop in for a drink so the imagery is based mainly around this audience. I took this opportunity to use nudge theory by showcase rustic comfort food imagery on the menus and menu boards to entice these hikers/walkers in to stopping to have a meal. The Jack's House have reported an increase in sales from the new menus and menu boards.
